In this article, you learn how to download, install, and activate Trend Micro Maximum Security on your computers.

Install Trend Micro Maximum Security on Windows PC

For installation instructions, follow the steps below:

1. Make sure your PC meets the system requirements.

2. Download the installer file below:

Trend Micro Maximum Security 2020 16.0

3. Click TrendMicro_16.0_HE_Full.exe to run the installer.

When the User Account Control window appears so click Yes.

4. Wait for the installer to extract the files needed for the installation.

5. If your computer is compatible with the installation, wait for Trend Micro to check it.

6. Type your serial number on the corresponded field, then click Next.

7. Click Next, after read the Data Disclosure Notice.

8. Then read the License Agreement, then click Agree and Install.

9. Wait for the program to install. This may take a couple of minutes.

10. Enter a computer name, then click Next.

11. Type your email address, then click Next.

12. Fill in the Account Information window, then click Next.

13. Check the information you entered, then click Next.

14. Click Finish.

15. Your product successfully installed and activated and  you will see the main console of Trend Micro Security

Trend Micro Maximum Security activation Error

After installation, if you receive an Error follow the steps below:

1. Access the Activation Portal.
2. Type your activation code, then click Next.
3. Create your Trend Micro Account.
4. Fill out the required information, then click Next.
5. Complete the activation by doing the following.
6. Open Trend Micro Security.
7. Click Sign in, then enter your Trend Micro Account.
